The 96 x 0.25 ml Tear Off 8- Micro Tube Strip Mat is designed for PCR and qPCR applications, the Micro 8-tube strips are barely attached to each other. One or more individual 8-tube strips can be easily torn off. For qPCR applications clear or white mats are recommended. The mats can be used as plates and/or as a torn off partition of it.

The micro tube is 10 mm shorter in height compared to its LP (low Profile) 0.1 ml format. Its total height does not exceed 5.9 mm. The vessels fals completely in the qPCR reaction block and allows (q)PCR without the use of heated lid.
Consequently the temperature performance of the used cycler will substantially improve whereas, in case of qPCR your optics typically positioned in the lid will become more precise and accurate. Next to that the "air volume in your raction vessels is substantially reduced to minium volume.
Fits almost all PCR and qPCR (fast) cycler models which accept low profile products and have height adjustable lids. More like new cycler type models, with an optimized "microtube"fit will become available on the market shortly.
The micro format does not requied the use of a heated lid anymore.
Closure can be accomplished with any EU 8-cap strip or Opti-Seal™. For qPCR closure the use of B57801, B79701-1 or Optical Tear Off 8-Cap Strip Mat is recommended.
