Fits almost all PCR and qPCR (fast) cycler models which accept low profile products. These mini 8-tube strip (0.05 ml) is 4 mm shorter as a low profile 0.1 ml tube-strip while its angle to fit (q)PCR cyclers remains identical. This product design is globally patent protected.
Thhe mini 8-tube strip (0.05 ml) can be closed with any of the BIOplastics cap strips.

See compatibitilty list at www.bioplastics.com . Closure can be accomplished with any EU 8-cap strip. For qPCR the use of B57801 or B79701-1 cap strips is recommended. One can also opt to use the Chimney Cap strip which extends, the height of the assembly (strip and cap) to 16.4 mm similar as the height of a low profile strip with cap.
Chimney caps strips are design protected and enables to change a low profile tube/strip/plate format (0.1 ml) to a regular profile tube/strip/ plate format (0.2 ml)
It can be used in many (q)PCR cycler formats. The optical wide area indented thin wall cap can also be used optical qPCR detection
When combined with BIOplastics low profile tubes (0.1 ml) the combination has the same height as a regular profile (0.2 ml) tube
When combined with BIOplastics mini-tube (0.05 ml) the combination has the same height as a low profile (0.1 ml) tube
